Abstract EN

This paper presents very briefly negative as well as possitive the view points of Arabic grammarians to concerning the Koranic readings in general.

It also discusses in detail a number of readings about the Validity of which grammarians were in doubt.

The paper presents the views held by Abu Hayyan, the position he has taken with respect to those who were in doubt, and the princibles he adopted to defend there readings.
