Sallustius’s book “The war of Jugurha” is considered as singuar and important source of war leod by the Numidian king in the period going from III to 105 B.C.

The book is not highly perfect in itself, because Caius Sallustius Cripus didn’t really want to report the events as they happened but to proise the nobiemen who act out of self interest.

Fort his, we have to put emphasis on some facts mentioned by Sallustius to reach his objectives.

He noted first the noble society, and also he raised the fact of Jugurtha’s adoption by Micipsa.

Owing to these statements, he stated the Numidian dependence to Roma.
