Abstract EN

This paper aims at studying El-Emad El-Asphahani’s attitude artistically and objectively towards Muslims-Europeans (Franks) wars as presented in his poetry, which accompanied Islamic holy war (Jihad) led by Noor El-Din Zinky and Saiahadin El-Ayoubi.

El-Emad’s attitude was very clear as he employed his inspired talent as a motive to encourage Muslim-leaders as well as soldiers.

Moreover.

H-Emad‘s inspired word was a means for building up the moral to confront the invaders and return the occupied territories, as well as a means for strength and unity.

Therefore, the importance of this paper tics in the assumption that El-Emad was one of the most prominent poets who lived during the Crusades wars, particularly in the stages of preparation and liberation.

Poets of that period portrayed the impact of the wars upon themselves and upon their contemporaries.

Furthermore, they presented their hopes and aspirations for diminishing the foreign existence as represented in the Europeans (Franks).

Finally, El-Emad's poetry had a special purpose in its historical and literary study of the sixth Hijri century.
