Abstract EN

As it is the first time for the female students at the Faculty of Education, King Abdulaziz University, to be taught through the closed circuit television, the two researchers conducted a study to evaluate some of the factors governing the teaching through T.V.

The questionnaire consisted of twenty-two items conducted on a random sample of 200 female students.

The statistical analysis was carried out on 184 properly answered questionnaire papers out of the 200 sample.

The X2 (chi-squared) distribution for the survey has been found to be less than 0.05 for those in favour of teaching through T.V.

as regards the nature of the female students, methods of teaching, audio-visual aids, projection of the teachers’ personality and carrying out of tests and home-work, the chi-squared results are in favour of those who agree to be taught through the closed circuit television.

The statistical test shows significant results among female respondents against class control through T.

As regards the question on the use of T.

V.

as media of instruction for the newly enrolled female students in different specializations, the chi-squared distribution result has also been inconclusive apparently due to the fact that the female students have been indecisive leading to an equal vote.
