Abstract EN

A microwave method for mobility measurement on metals using a degenerate cavity resonator is described.

The relationship of the microwave mobility it expressed in terms of the unloaded voltage reflection coefficient or the cavity, its geometry, the applied static magnetic Held and the ratio of the Hat] output power to input power.

The analysis is based on the scattering matrix technique of a rectangular bimodal cavity operating at its fundamental modes and various degrees of cavity coupling are considered.

Four metals were investigated and measured values of mobility are reported.
