أوعزت الدراسة الإحصائية لسحن متكونات القطاعات النموذجية لكل من العصر الجورامي و الطباشيري بالتوليفة و الخلط الأمثل من صخور المكامن و الغطاء لتجمعات الزيت المحتملة في متكونات العرب و الوسيع و البياض.
و متكون الهيث أفضل صخر غطاء على الإطلاق.
و صخور المصدر المصمتة يمكن أن توجد في متكونات مثل ضرمة، جبل طويق، حنيفة و السلي، إذا ما احتوت على كميات كافية من المادة العصرية و كانت ناضجة جيوكيميائيا.
و كل من إحصائيات الخزانات (المكامن) المنتجة و التحليل الجيوكيميائي للمصدر في المنطقة يدعم و يؤكد الاستنتاجات السابقة.
Abstract EN
Litho- statistical study of both the Jurassic and the Cretaceous Formations' type sectio ns suggests optimum litholo gical combina tions of reserv oir and cap rock s for possible oil accumulations in the Arab, Wasia , and Biyadh Formations .
The Hith Formation is by far the best cap rock .
Massive source rocks can exist in formations such as the Dhruma, Tuwaiq Mountain , Han ifa , and Sulaiy , if the y cont ain sufficient amounts of organic matter and are geochernically mature .
Both the statistics of the producing reservoirs and the geochemical an alysis of the source in the region suppo rt the above conclusions .
