يرتبط مرض نقص إفراز الغدة الدرقية بحالات نقص اليود و إزالة الغدة جراحيا و استخدام اليود المشع كذلك الاضطرابات التي تصيب الغدة النخامية و الغدة تحت المهاد، و تكون أعراضه متداخلة مع أمراض أخرى و الطرق المختبرية للتشخيص مكلفة.
تضمنت الدراسة إعداد نظام مكون من عدة مجموعات تضم كل واحدة أعراض و علامات و إعطاء كل مجموعة منها عدد من النقاط و اعتمادا ما يحصل عليه التشخيص من نقاط يتم التعامل معه كمصاب بنقص إفراز الغد أو لا.
شملت الدراسة 40 مريض (38 امرأة و رجلان) فقط و امتدت الدراسة حوالي سنتين (2011-2013) في مدينة الشطرة و اعتمادا على التشخيص المخبري بقياس الهرمون المحفز للغدة الدرقية و هرمون الثيروكسين في الدم حيث حصل 38 مريض على نتيجة موجبة، أما المتبقين (2) فقد حصلوا على نتيجة سالبة و على هذا الأساس تم تصميم نظام النقاط فالمريض الذي جمع أكثر من 12 نقطة يشخص على أنه مصاب بنقص إفراز الغدة الدرقية و الذي يحصل على أقل من 12 نقطة لا ترسل عيناته على المختبر و يشخص على أنه سليم.
Abstract EN
Hypothyroidism may occur as a result of primary gland failure or insufficient thyroid gland stimulation by the hypothalamus or pituitary gland.
It also occur when using radio-iodine.
Study extended for about 2012-2013, in Thi-qar city hospital and private clinic in Republic of Iraq.
40 patients (31 women and 9 men) of suspected hypothyroidisms considered in the study.
38 patients were diagnosed as hypothyroidisms after laboratory testing of patients with thyroid function tests (TSH and T4).
All of them are a positive results while the other 2 patients got negative results to TFT.
According to this results we design the scoring system depending on signs and symptoms that we find in the patients.
concord between above results and our system, patients get more than 12 points diagnosis as hypothyroidism, and who get less than 12 point consider non hypothyroid.-
