The sera level so f testosterone were in vestigatepdri or to surgery in 21 women with benign and 9 women with malignant ute ne tumors.

The sera concentration so f T were compared with these of 16 healthy age- matched controls.

Non- significant lower sera T levels (P > 0.1) were demonstrated in women with benign and malignant tumors.

The presence of testosterone (T) receptor $ were investigated in one group of benign uterine tumor and one group of malignant uterine tumor.

The result so btainedin dicatea higher incidence for these eceptorsin the malignant than in the benign tuners.
