Every age has it concepts, which affect the quality of the life, and contribute on changing or developing of what was preceding or even still existing.

And our current age characterized with the emergence of the information revolution which had large reflections on different life activities, what led to the development in important aspects, especially the process of education and training that allowed the appearing of new forms of schools (Smart school-virtual school), and contributed in turn to create a new environment of science and knowledge based on the development of skills, and broadcast community spirit and creativity commensurate with leading knowledge economy nowadays.

Today, it is important to move forward in changing the way of education to become more attractive to students, and more satisfying to their aspirations.

If we apply and generalize the project of “Smart Schools” in our Arab societies, we will prepare a conscious generation capable of looking forward the future, and seeking to improve the capabilities and continuously developing it.

In our research “Smart Schools”, the focus was on two Arab leaders experiments in e-learning.

The first include primary and secondary education, which practiced in the UAE, and the second in the field of higher education, that successfully applied in Syria.

The objective of these two experiments is to encourage other Arab countries to generalize the first experiment starting in primary education as in the UAE, and completing the application of the second experiment in the higher education as in the Syrian Virtual University.

From here, we decided to initiate our research in the field of e-learning, beginning with smart schools and ending of the Syrian Virtual University, which we are proud of being graduates and bachelor holders in information technology, and currently students to obtain a master’s degree in management and technology transfer and settlement.

We hope to benefit from the results of this research, which blends reality through theory discussion with practical experience process, to form an ideal, and effective way for definition, and a model that can be apply in other Arab countries.
