أثر استخدام بعض الاستراتيجيات في التدريس على تحصيل طلبة الصف الثالث متوسط في التعميمات الهندسية التي يبرهن عليها في الرياضيات

Abstract EN

The present study is conduct to know the influence of using three different teaching strategies on the achievement of third intermediate class in geometrical generalizations which are proved in mathematics.

The sample of the study consisted of 120 third intermediate class pupils in Al-Zuhoor intermediate school for girls in Mosul City center.

The sample is divided in to three groups.

Each group is taught with area of the three strategies.

The results show that the third (directed deductive discovery) strategy and the second (suggested) strategy were superior to the first (presentation) strategy.

The differences were statically significant.

The difference between the second and third strategy were not statically significant in the achievement test which included three cognitive levels: recall, understanding and application.

As for each of the three cognitive levels, the directed deductive discovery strategy and the second (suggested) strategy were superior to the first strategy (presentation) in both the levels of application and understanding and the differences were statically significant.

The differences between the second and third strategy were insignificant.

The first strategies were superior to the second and third strategy in the level of recall and the differences were statically significant.

The second and third strategies were superior as far as the level of recall is concerned and the differences were statistically significant.
