English Abstract
Field Orented Control Space Vector Pulse Width Modulation (FOC-SVPWM) is on of the effective and modren methods for speed control of Permant Magnet Synchronous Motor (PMSM).
In this work, a mathimatical model and theoretical analysis of (FOC-SVPWM) driving a PMSM using sensor less technique are developed to investigate the performance behavour for different operating condtions and different feedback control methods.
Extensive simulation results are presented using MATLAB/SIMULINK program and the overall drive system including (SVPWM generation, inverter, PMSM, the reference framtransformationand different controllers ) are build beside that the estimation method is implemented using Model Reference Adaptive System (MRAS).
This work presents a comparative syudy to investigate the performance of PMSM when different loads are applied on PMSM and operated with different speed values under three controllers.
The first controller is the Proportional-Integral (PI) Based on classical trial and error method and the second controller is PI-controller based on Practical Swarm Optimization (PSO) technique for optimal gains tuning to improve the performance of the system.
The results proved that the improvement of PI-PSO performance compared with the cxlassical PI-controller.
The third controller is Fuzzy -PI with scaling factor (gains) tuned by PSO technique with improves the performance of the system compared with PI-PSO in term of reducing settling time, rising time, overshoot and smoother response which makes this controller more robust to variation in load other than the rest controllers.
The results proved the superiority of the fuzzy PI sensor-less controller over fuzzy PI sensor controller.
