English Abstract

The electrical properties of own made Polyaniline (PANI) are investigated.

The room temperature conductivity of sample before and after deprotonation process is found to be 3,1 10-3 S/cm and 4,5 10-7 S / cm respectively.

From the static current density-Voltage (J-V) characteristics at 278K and 300K over the low applied forward bias range (0,3≤V(v)≤1,9) the current was increased linearly with voltage showing an ohmic behavior.

The proportionality of current density with temperature has been noticed, and the phonons induced lattice scattering is taken into account for explanation of this behavior.
