Sources of data for research can be infinitely varied, combining various techniques, including survey methods.

Using more than one technique for data gleaning may probably increase the value ofthe colleteddata and consequently ways of knowing.

With the introduction ^/'questionnaires in social investigation, the aim is directed towards “statistical” confidence in interpretations and empirical generalisations of findings.
