A simple-sensitive and rapid method based on the application of the differential-pulse polarography Of the diazonium salt of 0-,m and p- toluidine for the determination of trace amount of nitrite is described.
The experimental detection limit is shown to be 4.0 x 10-7 M (as N02- simple aqueous solution.
The method is further used to determine con- centrations of o- ,m- and p-toluidine down to 4.0 x 10-6 M under opti- mum condition.
