Abstract EN

This study aimed at showing that Abu Hayan Al-Tawhidi thought included an epestimalogical dispositions for the contemporary exchange thought.

Al- Tawhidi proposed this issue in analysing the structure and dynamics of social relations Exclusively friendship relation.

This study insists on that Al-Tawhidi thought inhance a complemantary theoritical frame to the exchange theory which ignored social exchange in intimate and friendship relations, and concentrates on social exchange in capitalism only.

while any kind of exchange out of this , is not social exchange.

This study showed that Al- Tawhidi thought which is prior to exchang thought, has been regarded social exchange as a main charactaristic of understanding social life, and it revealed that Al-Tawhidi concentrates on friendship relation as an exchange theory, that inhance it’s norms and restrictions, Furthermore Al-Tawhidi constructs methodoligical I deal type for the exchange theory the thing which social exchange theory did not do it and then, discussed the emergence of social conflict from social exchange process.
