We study the quasilinear Schrödinger equation of the form −Δu+Vxu−Δu2u=hx,u, x∈RN.

Under appropriate assumptions on Vx and hx,u, existence results of nontrivial solutions and high energy solutions are obtained by the dual-perturbation method.
