Abstract EN

The ethanol extract of Curcuma longa proved to be an attenuated agent against Toxoplasma gondii (RH strain) tachyzoites in the mice peritoneal fluid by two incubation methods.

Groups of female mice were injected by attenuated tachyzoites as 200 tachyzoites / ml, which treated with the ethanol extract of Curcuma longa was previously treated.

The result was observed after one week, as no tachyzoites were found in the peritoneal fluid of the experimental infected mice.
