We report the synthesis of PVP-capped Au-CdSe hybrid nanostructures synthesized using the UV-irradiation method.

The high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) and powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) studies confirm the presence of the hybrid gold and CdSe nanoparticles.
