عنيت هذه الدراسة بوصف النظام المقطعي في اللغة العربية، فاختبرت الأشكال الممكنة له، محاولة تحديد سمات التتابعات الصوتية في بعض المقاطع التي تبدو شاذة.
ثم تناولت قيمة همزة الوصل في هذا النظام، و ما يتربط بها من أوهام في النطق و المصطلح و الكتابة، فاعتبرت نطق الأسماء المبدوء بهمزة وصل عند دخول "أل" التعريف عليها، فالفته قابعا في القياس الخاطئ، متجاهلا قيمة الأصوات و وظائفها، ثم عاينت مصطلح "حركة التخلص من التقاء الساكنين" فوجدته افتراضا محضا، غير منتبه إلى علاقة هذه الحركة بهمزة الوصل.
Abstract EN
The objective of this study is to provide a description of the Arabic Syllable system.
The various forms of this system are investigated in an attempt to point out the characteristics of the vocal successive forms in syllables that seem to deviate from the general rule.
Additionally, the value of the silent Hamza within this system is discussed along with common misconceptions associated with it at the levels of pronunciation, terminology and writing.
