Abstract EN

The study aimed at investigating the effect of the behavioral approach in the group work on modifying the aggressive behavior of female patients suffering from poliomyelitis.

To achieve the aims of the study, a quasi-experimental study using one experimental group was conducted.

Additionally, a measurement of aggressive behavior was designed.

Before conducting the experiment, the aggressive behavior of the group was measured.

Then, the treatment, the behavioral approach of the group work was applied on the group.

The treatment lasted for six months.

As a post-test, the measurement was used to find out whether there were changes in the group’s aggressive behavior or not.

The results of the study revealed that applying the program of professional intervention by using the behavioral approach in the group work positively modified the group’s aggressive behavior directed towards themselves and others.

Based on these findings, the main hypotheses and sub-hypotheses of the study were accepted.
