Abstract EN

This paper briefly introduces the writer, besides a concise depiction of the novel under investigation (Immaculate Saint).

Then, I explained both the concept of character and mysticism ; mysticism as manifested in the novel.

As well as the novelistic character and its sources, focusing on the mystical character and its traits in the novel.

Then, I applied these traits to the hero of the investigated novel- denoting his previous and current characteristics, beside his appearance in the novel as well as the shift in his character, searching for the political social symbol for the character of the immaculate saint.

I concluded with some results such as : the mystic character in this novel is not exclusive to it but as a symbol and hence intermix with history and legends.
