Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the importance of investing in human capital of workers in libraries and information centers and recognize its importance in achieving the advantage of competitiveness in light of the various knowledge transformations.

The study followed the documentary approach based on the intellectual production published on the subject, in addition to the experience of the researcher in this field.

The findings of study brought attention and stressed on importance of introducing the concept of knowledge transformation in libraries and information centers in Jordan, building training programs in accordance with the scientific methods and international standards and to staying away from personal opinions and judgments in order to achieve the desired goals.

In addition, activating the role of libraries and information centers in support of knowledge management softwares and make it a success, by holding lectures, seminars, workshops and training courses necessary to do so, in order to achieve a competitive advantage.
