Abstract EN

It is known that the historical political studies are considered important.

This study deals with a very important period in the contemporary political history of India.

It particularly sheds light on the Indian attitudes towards the policies of the great nations after the Second World War when India had emerged as a developing country under the regional and international variables.

The Korean issue is considered one of the important aspects of the conflict between the USA and the Soviet Union.

It is also one the long-lasting issue the effects of which can be still traced up till now; the proof is the political maneuvers between the two Koreas at the present time.

Accordingly, the subject of the study has been chosen to clarify the Indian attitude towards the Korean issue in the UN 1945-1964, i.e., from the establishment of the UN to the end of the reign of Jawaharlal Nehru.
