Abstract EN
The level of IL-2 in the supernatant of cultured peripheral blood lymphocytes from 20 rheumatoid arthritis patients were found to be significantly decreased after clinical remission by treatment with gold for 20 weeks.
The finding points to a direct or indirect effect of gold on T-lymphocyte activity.
