Abstract EN
This study was performed on 40 SLE patients.
They were classified into two groups according to myocardial function, which was measured by transthoracic echocardiography.
Group I (24 patients) with myocardial dysfunction and group II (16 patients) with normal myocardial function.
We measured anti Ro, anti La, anti UIRNP and anticardiolipin (IgG and IgM) antibodies in both groups.
We found an increase in levels of anti Ro and anti UIRNP in group I, which was of statistical significance.
Also group I showed an increase in the level of anti La and anticardiolipin antibodies.
