Abstract EN

This research aims to highlight the rhetorical features in Surat Al Mulk, which consists of three main issues.

The first one is about the use of informative styles and their rhetorical purposes, where the researcher discussed Ith-haar fee mawdi al-idmaar, fronting and pre-posing, use of definite and indefinite nouns, assertion, rhetorical twist, indicating abundance by use of duality, expressing pluralism by use of singular forms, use of plural forms in addressing the singular, apposition of verbs with nouns.

The second issue is the compositional styles and their rhetorical purposes, where the researcher discussed questions, use of command, praise and dispraise, and the wish.

The third issue is the figures of speech and their rhetorical purposes, where the research explored the skillful use of initiation, simile, metaphor, metonymy, brevity by deletion, and rhetorical devices (antithesis, alliteration, and assonance).

The researcher highlighted the rhetorical purposes and secrets of each of the rhetorical features in Surat Al Mulk.

In the end, the researcher drew the most important findings and recommendations.
