Abstract EN
Mobile robotic involves many specialities as mechanic, mathematics, electronic, artificial intelligence, etc.
To connect these specialities, many topics as architecture, motion, perception, control, decision, etc.
were developed.
The problem remain how to integrate these topics2.
Research in mobile robot mainly concerns manufacturing, army or special sectors.
Some of our ordinary needs are neglected.
We present in this paper how the essential skill which is the autonomy of these robots could be used to solve the problem of movements for handicapped or blind persons in their habitation'.
Two points will be discussed.
The first point deals with how the autonomy of the mobile robot depends on a good construction of its environment.
The second one concerns the application of our propositions to a two wheel drives mobile path-planning named ROBUTER.
