١» 18-year-old male developed « high fever, profuse sweating and cervical lymphadenopathy.
Lymph node biopsy revealed necrotising lymphadenitis and a bone marrow aspirate showed haemophagocytic syndrome.
He responded to treatment with naproxen and prednisolone and remained well twelve months later.
