Pulmonary Nocardiosis is a rare disease in immuno-competent hosts.
It is mainly an opportunistic infection, particularly in patients with lymphoreticular neoplasms and chronic pulmonary disorders ///.
Organ transplant pa-tients and patients with Acquired Immunodeficiency Syn-drome (AIDS) are susceptible to infection.
We present a fulminant fatal case of Pulmonary Nocardiosis in an im-munocompetent patient.
The diagnosis ا.؛،’مم established by the gram-positive branching rods in a freshly prepared samples of endotracheal tube secretion (ETT) and sputum collected in two different days, and by isolation ofthe bac-teric front both samples.
