Some bacillus spp.
metabolites have an inhibitory effect on Es-cherichia coli either completely or partially based on the principle that inhibitory activity was (Imonstrable on a§ar when the produc-in§ and the indicator strain were growing actively.
The E.
coli used in this study was isolated from the intestine o£ a chick.
The results showed inhibition of E.
coli growth in the range 92.75-100 %.-
