Abstract EN
Recharge efficiencies of two recharge dams in Central Saudi Arabia have been studied through field measurements and by using a simplified water budget model.
The results for a complete rainy season showed that the recharge efficiencies of the two dams are 89.0 % and 93.3 %.
These results are very encouraging and contradict the general belief in the poor efficiency of such methods of artificial recharge.
