-The use of the stomach for bladder enlargement and replacement has been known since Sinaiko’s work in a ca-nine model ا et al.
later showed that the use of the stomach for bladder replacement and enlargement had many advantages especially in situations ()/'acute acid loading and azotaemial}).
The advantages of using the stomach included protection against hyperchloraemic aci-dosis (due to uet excretion ofchloride), reduced mucus pro-duction auddecreasedu/'ine infection rate, plus the clastic properties ofthe stomach < 4, 5).
We report the use ofpart ofthe stomach as a continent urinary reservoir to replace Cl missing urinary bladder and we discuss the advantages and disadvantages of using the stomach in the urinary tract
