English Abstract

total of 802 samples including human vaginal swabs ( 50 ) , human throat swabs ( 71 ) , animal vaginal swabs ( 357 ) animal nasal swabs ( 179 ) and Soil samples ( 145 ) were subjected to mycolgical isolation of yests .

The isolates were identified as C.

albicans , other Candida species , C.

neoformans and R.

rubra .

The characterization of different strains of C.

albicans and C.

neoformans by PCR for C.

albicans and nested - PCR for C.

neoformans and differentiation of both strains by RAPD - PCR confirmed the identification and differentiation of the different strains of C.

albicans and C.

neoformans
