Abstract EN

The effect of lateral surface mass flux on the buoyancy-induced flow in a porous medium adjacent to an inclined heated or cooled surface with a power law variation of wall temperature, and a power law variation of lateral surface velocity, is considered in this paper.

The inclination of the plate ranges from horizontal to vertical.

The two components of buoyancy force are retained.

The resulting governing equations are solved using the local non-similarity method.

The numerical solution is carried out up to the third level of truncation and results are presented for a wide range of mass flux parameters, Rayleigh number, inclination angle, and wall temperature distributions.
