Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the size of the digital gap among the female and male final year regular students studying the same faculties and majors at the level of the bachelor degree in the Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University.

The study seeks to identify the size of digital gap through identifying means and obstacles of accessing the digital information as well as the skills of usage and searching for information.

This research employed the descriptive survey method, being the most suitable for this research, as it is usually associated with the humanitarian studies and concerned with studying reality, describing phenomena, and data collection and expressing them qualitatively and quantitatively as well as interpreting them.

Also the stratified sampling approach was used as it fulfills representing the characteristics of the community through the sample, parity among its members and known to be statistically accurate with low errors percentage incidence.

Based on this, about 400 male and female students were taken as samples from the entire community, so that the research results can be generalized.

The research concluded to several findings.
