أجرى هذا البحث بقسم جراحة الصدر و القلب بمستشفى أسيوط الجامعي في الفترة ما بين 1990-2000شمل البحث 1131 مريضا 694 مريضا أجريت لهم عملية قلب مفتوح و 437 أجريت لهم عملية قلب مغلق.
و كان عدد الذكور 488 مريضا و عدد الإناث 643 تتراوح أعمارهم من 4 أشهر و 44 سنه.
و قد زاد عدد الحالات التي أجريت لها عملية قلب مفتوح في الفترة ما بين 1990-1999 بينما حدث العكس في عمليات القلب المغلق و قد زاد عدد المرضى اللذين أجريت إصلاح للعيوب الخلقية و قد تحسنت النتائج سواء المبكرة أو المتأخرة لهؤلاء المرضى.
Abstract EN
Patients n irVi cardiac lesions admittedfor cardiac operations (* 'losed or open) at Cardio thoracic Surgery Department ofAssiut University Hospital from January 1990 to January 2000 included retrospectively in this study They were 1131 patients (694 open and 437 closed); 4$$ males (43%) and 643 females (57%) and their age ranged from 4 months to 44 years (mean 29.4years).
The patients were diagnosed and fully investigated for elective surgery.
There was progressive increax m the number patient* with open surgery from 1996 (22patterns/ to 1999 (122patients), but the reverse *as with closed xahmlar surgery from 1990(24 patients', to 1999 ftumc).
The 'Ihc improvement extend to the postoperative morbidity andmortality (early mdlate). The difference was highly significant with aT- J3.8Q3 andP
