English Abstract

HPAI local field isolates A/Chicken/Egypt/1709-6/2008 (H5NI) and A/Chicken/Egypt/1063/2010 (H5NI) were compared in their growth pattern and titers in SPF ECEs and their pathogenicities (determination of their infective and lethal doses) in chickens.

H5N1 reassortant inactivated (H5N1 subtype, Egy/PR8-1 strain) and H5N2 inactivated (A/Chicken/Mexico/232/94/CPA H5N2) vaccines were compared in their ability to protection and reduce virus shedding after challenge with challenge doses 10? and 10? EID?? of cach isolate
