This research seeks to study the function of the narrator in the poetic text story, and diagnosis of different roles in the light of the transformations of modern art in the writing of poetry, of its manifestations in osmosis between narrative and poetry.

Two poetic texts have been selected which belong to two different cultures, and they were read by the systematic means provided by the comparative literature, based on contemplation of phenomena in its common humanistic, in a way differs from other literary criticism methods
