يعتبر سرطان المبيض الطلائي احد المسببات المؤدية إلى الموت من بين الأمراض النسائية.
تعتبر عملية تكون الأوعية الدموية أساسية لنمو الورم وتور الانبثاث.
يعتبر كل من نمو البطانة الوعائي و الانترلوكين 8 جزيئات محفزة قويه لعملية تكون الأوعية الدموية و قد لوحظ تعبيرها في العديد من الأورام الصلبة و بضمنها سرطان المبيض.
كان الهدف من الدراسة الحالية هو تحديد المستوى المصلي لعامل نمو البطانة الوعائي و النترلوكين 8 في كل من النساء الأصحاء و المريضات المصابات بأورام المبيض الحميدة والخبيثة وتقييم امكانية استعمالها كمعلمات للتشخيص المبكر الأورام المبيض.
تم قياس تراكيز كل من عامل نمو البطانة الوعائي و النترلوكين 8 باستخدام اختبار اللايز.
و قد أظهرت النتائج أن متوسط تراكيز كل من عامل نمو البطانة الوعائي و النترلوكين 8 قد اظهرا فروقات عالية المعنوية في مصول المريضات المصابات بسرطان المبيض عند المقارنة مع تلك المأخوذة من المريضات المصابات بأورام المبيض الحميدة و مجموعة السيطرة.
أن المستويات المصلية لعامل نمو البطانة الوعائي و النترلوكين 8 ربما تعتبر كوسائل إضافية في تمييز أورام المبيض.
Abstract EN
Epithelial ovarian cancer is the leading cause of cancer deaths from gynecological malignancies.
Angiogenesis is considered essential for tumor growth and the development of metastases.
VEGF and IL−8 are potent angiostimulatory molecules and their expression has been demonstrated in many solid tumors, including ovarian cancer.
VEGF and IL-8 concentrations were measured by ELISA test (HumanVEGF,IL-8).
Bioassay ELISA/ US Biological / USA).
The median VEGF and IL-8 levels were significantly higher in the sera of ovarian cancer patients than in those with benign tumors and in healthy controls.
Pretreatment VEGF and IL-8 serum levels might be regarded as an additional tool in the differentiation of ovarian tumors.
