صممت هذه الدراسة لتحديد تأثير الإصابة باميبيا النسيج على الأشخاص المصابين بهذا الطفيلي في مدينة النجف الأشرف و ذلك باستخدام طريقة الفحص المجهري المباشر لبراز المصابين حيث اشتملت الدراسة الحالية على 60 حالة إصابة بطفيلي اميبيا النسيج و 30 حالة من أشخاص غير مصابين ارتادوا مدينة الصدر الطبية و مستشفى الحكيم في محافظة النجف الأشرف للمدة من كانون الثاني حتى آب 2012.
أظهرت الدراسة الحالية حصول انخفاض معنوي (0.05 > P) في مستوى الحديد و الفرتين في الأشخاص المصابين بطفيلي اميبيا النسيج مقارنة بمجموعة السيطرة..
كما كشفت الدراسة الحالية حصول ارتفاع معنوي (0.05 > P) في مستوى الميلاتونين و البرولاكتين في الأشخاص المصابين بطفيلي اميبيا النسيج مقارنة بمجموعة السيطرة.
Abstract EN
The study was conducted on 60 out patients and 30 healthy men to determine the influences of infected with Entamoeba histolytica on levels of iron, melatonin and prolactin in men infected with E.
histolytica in compared with healthy group.
Who have visited Al-Sadder medical city and Al-Hakeem Hospital in Al- Najaf Province during the period from January till August 2012.
Diagnosis infection with this parasite by using the wet amount microscope for stool from patients.
The results showed significant decrease (P<0.05) in iron and ferritin in E.
histolytica infection patients in compared to control group.
Furthermore the results showed serum melatonin and prolactin were significant increased (P< 0.05) in E.
histolytica infection patients in compared to control group.
