Abstract EN

This study focuses on the impact of international intervention in Darfur on the humanitarian situation in the region through the study of the causes of international intervention there, analyze and study the mechanisms and instruments of intervention, and examine through study and analysis the consequences of this operation.

The researcher reached a number of results, that are; the intervention is a natural result of the developments in the international system and the principles of human rights, which states on the protection of human rights and self-determination, and that the internal conflicts often lead to human rights abuses either because the state is unable to protect its citizens or it is the one conducting the violation of human rights.
