Abstract EN

This study is concerned with research on the relationship between climate and tourism in the province of Babylon In terms of the role of temperature and humidity, wind and rain elements as factors a tourist attraction and the tourism climate of the study area and the temporal variations of the extent of climatic comfort in order to identify the most comfortable times both at the level of monthly or quarterly.

The study depended on the most important climatic factors that affect human health and comfort, which are heat, humidity and wind speed.

If apply the presumption of (Tom) depending on daily and monthly data for the AL-Hilla station during the period (1981-2010).

The Study reached the numbers of results which aims to determine the climate rest periods in the province of Babylon, and determine the most suitable periods of internal and external tourism, whether temporary or periodic.
