إن الإصابة بالذبحة الصدرية تشكل نسبة عالية لإمراض الأوعية القلبية في العالم و في هذا البحث محاولة لدراسة إمكانية وجود علاقة بين تركيز عنصر الكالسيوم في مصل الدم و تأثيره كأحد العوامل على حدوث الذبحة الصدرية.
حيث تمت مقارنة نتائج القياسات التي أجريت على (60) مريض مصابين بالذبحة الصدرية مع تلك التي تم الحصول عليها لنفس العدد من الأشخاص الأصحاء الذين يمثلون العمر و الجنس ذاته و أخضع الأشخاص الأصحاء لفحص سريري و تخطيط للقلب و أشعة للصدر و تحليل للدم لغرض التأكد من خلوهم من مؤشرات قد تؤدي لهذه الإصابة.
أشارت النتائج إلى أن تركيز الكالسيوم في مصل الدم عند الأصحاء أعلى بحدود 65 % من تركيزه عند المصابين بالذبحة الصدرية مما يجعل تعيين تركيز الكالسيوم في مصل الدم يشكل مؤشر من مجموعة مؤشرات محتمل إن يكون مفيد في مجالي التشخيص و العلاج.
Abstract EN
Blood samples from sixty patients with ischemie heart disease were taken and analyzed for serum calcium level and compared with another sixty samples of control individuals having the same age and sex.
To determine the serum calcium level Atomic Absorption S^cUophotoiueter (A.A.S) technique was used.
The results were obtained showed that serum calcium level of control individuals are higher (65%) over those obtained from ischemic heart patients.
The control individuals were passing through physical examination and investigations including electrocardiography, chest x-ray and blood test which were show no evidence of heart disease.
