Abstract EN
Numerical models for computing flows in shallow seas and the applications that have been made of such models to the Arabian Gulf are reviewed.
The physical characteristics of the tidal flow, storm surges, and the residual flow in the Gulf are summarized and the application of both two- and three-dimensional numerical models to the computation of these flows is described.
