تم تسجيل أطياف الاهتزاز و الرامان لمركب (2-بنزيميدازول)، و تم تفسير كل الاهتزازات على أساس حسابات الإحداثيات الطبيعية و افتراض أن المركب ينتمي إلى نقطة مجموعة التماثل Cs كما تم أيضا حساب طاقة الوضع المصاحبة لكل نوع من الاهتزازات.

Abstract EN

The FTIR and Raman spectra of 2-benzimidazole thiol have been recorded.

The observed frequencies were assigned to different modes of vibrations on the basis of normal coordinate calculations assuming Cs point group symmetry.

The potential ,energy associated with each vibrational type was also reported.
