English Abstract
The market of higher education is a competitive environment with increasing volatility.
Megatrends such as globalization, communication and individualization evoke additional changes within this field of business, compelling institutions of higher education (HEI) to increase their ability to change.
Quality Management Systems (QMS) have proven to facilitate this process for companies of traditional industries.
Whilst major tools and theories established for such industries may be used as a foundation to enable HEI to fulfil these new requirements, they must be adapted to meet the specific needs within the field of higher education.
One developed solution that can be used for HEI is an integrated interactive QMS that builds on the foundation of a Q.Wiki that serves as a centralized platform for knowledge-and process-management.
