English Abstract
The experimental conditions for the chelate formation for gold complexes :- Concentration of Au ion was (10) ppm and (15)ppm for metronidazole : pH(2-3): aqueous to organic phase ratio (5:1) : reaction time (10 ) minutes : extraction time (2) minutes , one minutes for tetracycline and metronidazole : one - extraction process (96.817% , 95.714%, 93.626% ,95.241%, 96.652%)for all drugs respectively .
Benzyl alcohol proved to be the best organic solvent for extraction of the β- lactames complexes , ethyl acetate for Tetracycline complexes , and chloroform for Metronidazole without interference .
The analytical figures of merits obtained on applying the developed procedure for Ampicillin , Amoxicillin , Cephalexin , Tetracycline and Metronidazole determination resp.
was : - Linear dynamic range (5-60ppm) for Amp., Amox.
, and Cephalexin , (5-70) for tetracycline , and (5-55ppm)for metronidazole .
LOD (0.236, 0.305, 0.202, 0.740, 0.507) μg.ml-1.
Erel% (1.050%, 1.025%, 1.077%, 0.783%, 1.072%).
Recovery% (101.050%, 101.024%, 101.06%, 100.78%, 101.07%).
The structures of the gold-Drug complex for the five drugs were found to be 1:1 (M:L) ,the stability constants of the five complexes are (8.4950×105 , 1.1611×105 , 1.1630×104 , 2.5187×104 ,1.6478×104 )M-1 resp.
