English Abstract
The main objective of this thesis is to study the dynamical behavior of three species non linear ecological systems.
A three species food chain model with Beddington-DeAngelis functional response and a three species food web with Beddington-DeAngelis functional response are investigated analytically and numerically.
Analytical methods, such as Routh-Hurwitz criterion and Lyapunov function are used to study the stability of the models.
The persistence conditions of food chain model and food web model are established.
The global dynamical behavior is investigated numerically.
Variety of mathematical tools, e.g.
bifurcation diagram, three dimensional attractors, Lyapunov exponent and time series are used extensively throughout this thesis.
These tools are used for detecting chaotic dynamics
