English Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to analyze the influence of magneto-hydrodynamics (MHD) on the pipe unsteady flow of the third-grade fluid with constant viscosity.
In addition, the heat transfer characteristic is taken into account.
Due to the nonlinear, coupled and highly complicated nature of the governing equations, finding an analytical solution is not easy.
We obtained the expressions for the velocity and temperature by using homotopy analysis method (HAM).
It is found that the motion and energy equations are controlled by many dimensionless parameter, namely Reynolds number ??, product between Prandtl and Eckert numbers Γ, pressure drop ?, MHD parameter ?, material constants ?, β, ?′, and ?′, third grade parameter Λ, , and time parameter ?.
The effect of each physical parameter upon the velocity and heat transfer distribution is analyzed, also a comparison study among steady and unsteady flow is presented.
This comprehensive study is done through plotting around (165) graph by using the MATHEMATICA package
