Diagnosis of chin trauma in the children : in upper Egypt

Objective: The purpose of this study is to highlight the importance of condyler examination in cases with chin trauma, to prevent the sequalae of misdiagnosis and mismanagement.

Patients and methods: 37 children subjected to chin trauma clinical .radiological examination and analysis for the results according to age, sex.and types of fractures was done in addition to follow up for 1.5 years for the last patients.

Results: Apart from the scar of the previous chin trauma no other complications for the fractures of all the cases.

We follow the policy of post-operative careful physiotherapy.

There is no occlusion or joint problem
